Can you let us know if the following specific steps help you with this please.
- Make sure your Google Play Store app is up to date. It should be version 8.3.73 or later.
- In Settings -> Display -> Screen Resolution, make sure you are running at FHD+ or WQHD+ resolution (not HD+ resolution).
- In Settings -> Apps -> Google Play Store -> Storage, tap Clear Data. Only clearing the cache is not enough.
- Reboot the device before retrying.

1. Play Store version is 8.4.19
2. Screen Resolution is WQHD
3. Cleared Data as requested from Play Store app.
4. Rebooted and retried worked briefly as soon as i switched out of the app into another then back again the error appeared again.

I am getting the same message. I tried to make a purchase and got an error, but then this message kept popping up. I then went on my second device and made the purchase just fine. I have tried deleting the app and updating my iOS.

What worked for me was:
Delete the app and then redownload it
sign in as a new user and create a new account
make an in app purchase in the new account, which worked
Then I deleted the app, redownloaded it again
signed in under the old account
in app purchases worked again!

I tried all of those steps three times.
i was on the phone with EA twice todaythe first time they blamed Apple.
i called Apple They found nothing wrong
I can buy items on the Apple store and every other web site or app.i called EA again. they called back had me on the line for 47 minutes before they disconnected me.
no one called me back.
This is horrible.
there are good packages to buy now and they won’t take my money.
The Christmas Freeze packages are up.
i can’t update my team.!
even worse , I’ll be out of cash to even play the game!
are they going to refund all of the money I spent this year?
Its been like this for 3 days!!!
id give up except I spent over $5,000 this year alone!Please get get back to me fast!
