What worked for me was:
Delete the app and then redownload it
sign in as a new user and create a new account
make an in app purchase in the new account, which worked
Then I deleted the app, redownloaded it again
signed in under the old account
in app purchases worked again!

I did the same on christmas day with an elf blitz pack. i never received the 3 uf elites or madden cash but was charged 19.99. I get the same message as you guys all day long and never got my items. I tried EA yesterday, they said they were closed. I tried today two separate phone calls lasting one hour each, one I got disconnected after I was told a supervisor would not talk to me, and another said he would try and escalate. Basically i was told as far as they were concerned i got my items. which i did not, all i get is the "PAYMENT FAILED" Msg and no items. I also had a chat session as well that lasted awhile and was not allowed to chat with a supervisor and told, there was nothing they could do about it. Ive tried all these steps here and all trouble shooting and nothing works. Any other ideas before I dispute the charge and quit playing?
