Journeys Genesis Stage 4 Get a Shutout in 4th Quarter Won't Let Me Advance

In playing Journeys Genesis Stage four Get a Shutout in the 4th Quarter event, MM won't let me advance to the next event after winning. I have already checked my phone's date/time, verified it's running the latest version of Android, force quit MM, cleared the cache, uninstalled MM, restarted my phone and re-installed MM, but MM still won't let me progress to the next Journeys Genesis stage four event no matter how many times I win that event. I already spoke with a representative from EA Help  who advised me to follow the above steps which I'd already done. I repeated the troubleshooting steps but MM still won't recognize my wins and allow me to progress. So, some help here would be greatly appreciated as I've been stuck at this point in Journeys for a week now! And despite contacting EA Help several times I'm no closer to a solution here.
