Imagine a 200 rank team that maybe got a late start or took a awhile to compile a core team working their way through the 101-200 bracket and having a chance to crack into the top 100, even if it requires them beating the same teams with the same number of members +/- X number of members over and over again!
That could make LC more competitive (because you would have higher chance of being auto dropped in LvL match ups by finishing last), which could promote motivation to spend more time playing the game and increase skills/team so you don’t get auto dropped In LvL match ups.
I assume the name of the game is to have users spend time on the app and I assume that there is a profit correlation that’s says x amount of time per person spent playing the game equals x amount money spent by each person. When a top 50 team continuously plays 200 and above ranked teams neither team has motivation to spend time playing LvL. Top 50 throws a couple of passes for TD’s and logs out, 200 and above logs in and sees top 50 matchup and logs out. Minimal amount of time spent by both teams in app because no amount of time spent on app could ever change any part of the outcome.
