As @hawskee mentioned, this is most likely the case. We haven't announced an end date yet, but that should be shortly before the 20th.

Once the new MM22 season launches, you will no longer be able to play MM21. The only reason you were able to continue playing MM20 once MM21 launched (and are still able to) is because MM21 was a completely separate app from MM20.

Since MM22 will be on the same app as MM21, you will no longer be able to play the prior season once the new one launches on August 20th.

So my current team/roster will no longer exist in approx 10 days?

You would be correct. It’s already been confirmed there will be no legacy team (aka your team from MM21) that will be used in MM22.

We will all start from scratch with new teams/players, hence why it is referred to as a “reset”. I would recommend screenshotting your final MM21 lineup prior to reset if you wish to keep it as a memory.
