Wow.. this one is an oldie from 2015.
@artman5591 this has been resolved this season. You can level up past 50 and each stamina refill will append to your existing stamina. This is true for level ups and any stamina boost events that come up. However, if your stamina is full, I don't believe you can purchase the refill. I think you have to use your stamina first and then you can refill it (not sure why someone would want to fill up ahead of time though).
