Agree with this +100. I would also add that because OVR pretty much determines your win probability (especially for OVR gaps of +300 or so it seems) League tournament games and LvL games now tend to go more predictably to the highest OVR teams. As a result in my league those members with middling OVR have tended to forfeit their matches or not play at all. Compared to MM21 this has resulted in significantly less participation in any kind of League activity, including LvL play. Basically, the ones who spend on their ultimate team get to enjoy the intramural competition and stay engaged. But what about the casual gamers or the no-spenders who are in a league? The lack of an AH to offset resource constraints pretty much limits the enjoyment of competition for these players— in league play but also in general gameplay.

There are still some resource benefits to being in a League but it’s much less fun or friendly now (especially as there are no more cooperative benefits for say helping a league member). In league play he who spends $$$ gets to have fun. The rest…not so much.
