RETICULATING SPLINES

While playing Madden Mobile today, I had to close the app mid-play (I was playing at work - oops). Since then, I've been unable to open the game. The game opens, starts loading, and gets as far as the "Reticulating Splines" joke before crashing and sending my back to my phone's home screen. When I double click the button to close apps, the preview window of the game is not only open, it shows the exact part of the play I was on when I initially quit. I have tried quitting and reopening the app multiple times, as well as restarting the phone, to no avail. Is there anything I can do to get my team back? If I uninstall/reinstall the game, will i lose all my progress?

Same issue, any resolutions?

I tried to open the app today and it quits after a couple seconds at the "reticulating splines" stage. This has never happened to me before. I have tried everything–quitting the app, restarting my phone, politely asking the app to load, impolitely demanding the app to load–and nothing is working. I don't want to delete and reinstall the app because I fear that I will lose all of my progress. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

For what it's worth, I have an iPhone 5s running on iOS 7.2.1

Just happened
I'm on my LG g2 Mini with android kit kat and it's brand new. No other app is failing
Already stopped the process. Reinstaled. Restarted....nothing

Ok so I have been having problems with the app. I was on the auction house and I decided I didn't want to play anymore. So I went out of the app and turned my phone off. Then later I decided I wanted to play it again. So I went into the app and waited for it to load. I soon figured out that it became stuck on "Reticulating Splines". So I exited out the app and tried to go into the app again. I became stuck on the same thing and wouldn't load. I spent too much time on this game and I would be extremely disappointed if I would have to delete the app and start all over again. Any suggestions on what to do?
