S20 crash after updating software

@EA_Blueberry I am experiencing the same issue as described in this thread. 

I too have a Galaxy S20 and following the last phone software update, the app crashes over and over again.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. Each time, I lower the graphics settings to Low.

At times, I'm able to complete one session of play, however the next time I try to open the app, the app crashes after I log in, while the home page loads.

The last few times I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I log in and then the app crashes as the home page loads.

Any advice?

I know you are having the issue with the screen going black for rushing plays too, sadly I don't have any updates around that at the moment. If you sign in with Facebook, can you try signing out of the account on Facebook and clear the cache under your apps settings to see if that helps with login?

Do you have anti-virus apps on your device running in the background? Some of them have options where they only run when instructed, at specific times, or continually doing virus scan sweeps. Curious if that could be conflicting with the game.

I sign in to the game with Google Play Games (not Facebook).

I don't have any anti virus apps.

I've tried going into the app settings and clearing cache as well as clearing app data altogether.

I've also tried closing all background apps and then launching the game, however I run into the same issue.

I've run out of troubleshooting options to try ☹️

I have this issue as well. It will just crash  by itself every time I'm trying to get to anything in the game. 

Samsung software patch is from December 1, 2020 but I just installed it today. No issue before that.

Uninstall then re install and clearing the cache didn't help. Temporary fix I found so far is clearing the apps data but will crash once I play the game again.

Based on the information I provided in my previous message, can you offer any troubleshooting steps that might help solve this crashing issue?

This seems to be happening to a lot of Samsung Galaxy S20 users following a December 1st Android Software Update. Maybe that has something to do with it? 

Would be great to get an update here.

I have the same problem.

Once I open the app and log into my google play account it crashes on the loading screen. I then force close the app and reinstall it and sometimes it works but 3/4 times it doesn't. And when I once get into the game I can't close it so it doesn't crash because when I want to go in the game again it crashes and then I have to start the process of reinstalling. I'm writing this because before today it was okay but today I can't get into the game after 10 times of reinstalling it.
