Sold an item but you haven't gotten your coins yet? Read here

To avoid avoid any more threads being posted here and on Answer HQ about this problem, Its already known by the devs. If you sold an item and you haven't gotten your coins yet. Please be patient....

For days, I have participated in auctions for players and time runs out with me having the highest bid, I get a notification that I won the auction, then 30 seconds later, with no other notification and no indication that anyone put in a higher bid, it says I lost the bid.  

What's going on?

    Basically the clock continues because other people are still on the player's screen. They can still look at him for about up to 15 seconds until they have to either buy him or exit. If they buy him than you basically lose the player even though it says you won him at first. Try cheking your bids the moment after it says "you won" because unless it says "this is your winning bid" high chance someone else is either bidding or buying him.
    P.S. If he does not buy you might get him if you are fast enough!

      Thanks for the reply.  It's ridiculous if that's the way it actually works.  Absurd.
