Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. EA also partially did it to themselves by giving out so many FOs and TOTW players at the end which devalued the base Elites.
But yeah, between that and the glitch the market has become pretty much worthless. It's pretty much impossible to flip cards, and unlocking sets (like the MVPs) is pointless.
