Unfair Policies From Useless Program Players To Sheer Greed Et Al

I've noticed that as this year has progressed EA's team MM has slowly but surely implemented a number of changes which are both unfair and frankly greedy & I state this as a long time fan and supporter of MM via purchases of premium content.

Most annoyingly is the policy of making almost all program players ineligible for auction sale, non-exchangeable, and useless in sets including player evolution. As of this writing I have well over 13 high OVR hard-earned program players in my items that are useless. I can't even exchange veteran players to get their TP. This policy of making so many program players unsellable, un-auctionable and intelligible for exchange is hugely unfair. As is the significant reduction in tokens awarded for player exchange.

Programs: I've noticed that as the year has progressed the requirements for coveted players in programs has increased to the point where one has to spend at least $29.99 or in the case of Sugar Rush at least $70 or more to have any chance at a 98 or 99 OVR player. This year began with plenty of programs enabling players to have fun grinding & able to earn usable players without spending much if anything and I was pleased to see EA moving away from the massive greed-fest of last year to a much fairer paradigm. But over the last few events it's returned to pay big bucks to earn coveted players and it's disappointing.

Along those lines I noticed starting yesterday that completing of both Bittersweet and Sour blitzes no longer awards enough jelly beans to complete all four golden bunny events making completing seven sets for the 5000 much-needed to reach 175k or better X Factors points impossible and again this is most unfair.

Finally, even having purchased the $29.99 VIP pass and grinded like mad to earn every possible X Factors point via every means I am at this late date still short of 175k, the 150k award was useless, and unless a new generous set or program appears allowing players a fair chance to earn additional X Factors points I don't see 175k or the coveted 200k level I've been grinding like a frenzied chimpanzee pressing the feeder bar in a *-over-food addiction experiment since day one as being feasible and this really rubs me the wrong way because it's pure bait and switch which coupled with all the other issues this year including un-awarded currencies/players et al plus the issues detailed above is a collective slap in the face to every single avid MM supporter who, like me, has helped EA earn big money while being repeatedly ripped-off and seeing EA Help reduced to EA Passing The Buck.

I love MM and have spent way too much money supporting its development and deserve fairer treatment along with ever other MM fan and supporter.

I'd love to see MM actually address all these issues plus all the bugs, lost currency and players and never-awarded X Factors points instead of stating simply that "We'll pass this along to the dev team", then: nothing.

Please, MM: adjust your policies to reflect the dignity and respect your supporters deserve.

Took the words right out of my mouth.  I'm in a panic trying to get 99 OVR and I will probably only get one, which sucks.  Its sad but affirming that others are experiencing things like this in MM.  I hope this changes.  Thank you for addressing this.

Yeah the money grubbing has been on another level this year...... definitely not playing next year unless something changes soon. And you might actually want to pay if the game didn't crash all time and wasn't so poorly constructed. Doesn't help that for every change that's good they make 2 that make the game worse. Not sure they care what we think as long as someone else is willing to pay.....

One more thing. The whole nonauctionable thing is just the worst (i would use more insulting language here for what i think about the person who came up with this concept but they don't like it when do that so use your imagination and basically the worst you can think of that's what i would have said). I get making it nonauctionable during event so you actually have to play the event to build the sets but why not just set a delay for a week or 2 after the event ends and all players become actionable? Then if you get stuck with a few extra players you're not completely screwed you just have to wait a bit to sell....

  • @drtydozen13 Thanks for your responses. I feel your panic big-time. Been grinding like mad in S Rush to earn a 98 and despite spending money on a shields pack and other helpful content I'm still pretty sure there's no way I can possibly complete earning the final two 94+ players I need for the G Kittle I've been grinding for. Sigh. Why, MM, why?!?!?
  • I 100% agree with everything you said in your post. Unfortunately, EA has a habit of destroying their games and screwing their players. I used to be a Real Racing 3 player until EA ruined that with their greed. Looks like they're doing that to MM too. I have been a player since day one but this may be the end for me...
