After the latest update I can't click and change players on defence. I can't find any setting for this on the game. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Before the update I could do this but now I can't. Help please.

Why can't I click and change players on defence?

You can change the defensive player you control by swiping left or right (on an empty part of screen) to cycle through them.

Yeah that works but why did it change? Before I could just touch who I wanted and it was a lot faster and better. Is there any way I can change back to that? What I really don't understand is why mine is that way and others are not.

I would think that it's that way now for everyone who has updated, that's how mine is and many others I've talked to. If people can still click on the player to select they likely haven't updated the new version yet.

You may be right about the update. All the ones I know of that can still click on the player have Apple phones. I hate the scrolling through players. It was way better before when you could just click. Hopefully this gets changed back because it is really annoying.

I agree! Very annoying. I like to move multiple players on defense before the snap. Having to scroll through doesn't give me enough time. I hope they revert back to clicking on the players

@23kyd I haven't tried scrolling but I can't click on who I want anymore and it's infuriating, annoying and completely changes the way I play defense.
Not cool. Bring the old way back please. I don't know why you are changing things like that but won't change some of the fundamental things that we have been asking.

@d3fc102ee3a0ff6f I am on iOS. I tried both clicking and scrolling but nothing works. I cannot change players at all! Whichever the player the game assigns, I’m stuck with that player during the whole time...

I’m having the same issues as well. I reported it as a bug.... ever since the update the other day. This is aggravating/annoying
