Why does EA continue to cheat in overdrive?

All users know that ea is cheating this season in overdrive. Why? I can score 1500 points in a match against someone with 500 more power than me and then score 500 points against a team with 300 powe...

You may choose to not believe me, but the games aren't rigged/there's no predetermined matches.

Personally I usually don't pay much attention to Power. While it can offer a boost, player OVR and Coach choice can be a huge factor in a match.

Bugs can occur too, and if you are encountering some very suspicious activity a video will go a long way towards identifying if things are working as intended.

Hey Everyone,

As stated earlier today we recently implemented some “non-human” opponents in Overdrive. This went live on 10/16/18 along with the new Overdrive season. Before I get into the details, it should be said that we fully understand the need for more transparency with the community.

A big part of being transparent is being open about out our reasons for introducing new elements. We introduced them to accomplish three goals:

To help new players in their first block of games get used to Overdrive by avoiding match-ups with experienced users that would beat them easily.
To help players bounce back from frustrating losing streaks, for example if you have lost more than 5 in 10 games in bronze/silver/gold divisions during ranked matches. Unranked matches can be any division.
To minimize wait times in bronze/silver/gold division matches after the maximum wait time (60 seconds) during ranked matches. Again, unranked matches can be any division.

The non-human players can also be encountered in an edge case in the bronze/silver/gold matches (less than 10%) to maximize fun.

They are not in the game to:

Impact the competitive landscape. We have not designed Elite or HoF divisions with non-human players in ranked matches.
Boost the number of possible opponents because the game does not have enough players.
Modify the situation so that players will spend.

Our community is filled with some of the most passionate and loyal gamers that I have ever seen. We are striving to improve communication with our community and we recognize that we should be communicating things like this before their implementation.

How do we capture video play?

Who yo do we send it to? Please don’t say support as they just send us here and the forums.

Where not angry at you EA_David but there is so much wrong this season that one post cannot cover, players are darn right frustrated and angry with most aspects of the game. We know you are the only rep from EA that bothers to at least help and we appreciate that but I personally feel that this season is the last for many due to one thing.......EA greediness.

I think there's an option on Iphone natively, Control Centre > Customize Controls > Screen Recording. However I don't have one to test so this is 2nd hand info. On Android I think you need to use 3rd party software, which can be less than ideal/impact performance.

I'm aware that there are a few hurdles here, but if you can get such a clip, you can post them here/DM to me.

  I have an iPhone and you are correct @EA_David. However, the screen recording isn't enabled by default, so you'll have to add it to the control center options.
