Why is madden turning my phone off

I'm an android user and when I play madden every 2-3 minutes it puts my phone onto the lock screen. What should I do?

    In your phone settings, you can set a longer screen timeout or disable that feature entirely, thanks.

    This is also happening on IPAD OS for latest IOS version and latest version of Madden.  Autolocks randomly.  Any upcoming fix EA?

      Is there an option to turn your sleep setting to NEVER? That fixed it for the player above.

        Unfortunately that is a workaround and not a fix. Setting the IPad to Never lock is not a good idea for many reasons
