Xbox Controller Half Working with Madden Mobile

What time did you see the bug? 1:30 PM

How often does the bug occur? Every time I play 

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect a controller 

What happens when the bug occurs? No control from the start of gameplay

What should be happening instead? I'm normally able to use my Microsoft branded controller to play Madden Mobile. I'm able to use the controller in every other aspect of the game except for gameplay. 

I've done the following: Uninstall/Re-install the game, made sure my OS (Android 12)  and game (Version 8.1.1) are updated and updated my controller. Thanks for any looks with this!
