Add a weapon test facility to Nexus
Would be really cool if we could get a weapon/combat testing facility on the Nexus to preview guns without buying or test ones out before destroying etc. Wasn't there a feature like this on the Cita...

Cool idea! But would it make sense to have a shooting range on Nexus, considering Andromeda Initiative is a peaceful mission in a first place? 🙂

Well it was supposed to 😉
But given the threat from exiles and Kett once we've arrived and established a military (APEX) it seems more plausible to have as an addition after the fact, no?
I mean are all the Apex forces just magically good at their weapon proficiencies from the get-go?

I agree with @EA_Archi, but I think you have a good point for having something built after your primary objectives are met, perhaps after 2-3 planets are viable? And probably building it at Kedara Port Slums, because it seems the place where people wouldn't care the least about the outcome.
i figured it would be wise for training the militia at least? maybe a virtual testing-center/shooting-range that allows you to test weapons and augs without building them first? saves room that way.

An in game apex arena would be fun!

Im pretty sure a cop doesnt just go through training once and expect to always be a crack shot afterwards. They train forever. For as long as they are on the force, to keep their skills honned and sharp.
Not just shooting ranges but all kinds of simulations as well such as - being sure to only hit the bad guys whilst missing the civs. Stationary and moving targets. Physical training and so forth.
In the mass effect word an arena with simulated targets, enemies, missions and what not would be a perfect training ground and make the most sense.
Wouldn't have to be on the nexus though - there's a bunch of planets.
Im sure the Krogan on Eledaan would even appreciate having one for recreational purposes, might even help boost relations and morale with them if they were given access ... and scores where kept for friendly competition😉

How about Eos, if you picked the military base option. Seems like they'd actually need one there.
