One month since Mass Effect Andromeda was released, the patch 1.05 was very appreciable . But any news , updates on 1.06 , i'm very curious what will you do with the character creation so I hope to have some news soon as possible and I think i'm not the only one ๐

that "tune in to the livestream" b/s has to stop too. i play videogames all day, if im NOT playing videogames im doing yard/house work, walking my dogs, or building something. for me to have SO Little going on in my fecking life that i have time to sit through losers talking about things on the internet i would have to be a quadriplegic!
asif it wouldnt be faster to JUST do a fecking roadmap/list?! how much preparation/cost is associated with these useless livestreams? they arent fooling anybody.. THAT doesnt count as interacting with the community! its more like preaching to the peasants from their ivory tower!
how many of you are ACTUALLY going to set time aside tomorrow to watch these chumps b/s about their disaster of a game, make excuses why its not their fault, and make promises about the future that they arent really going to keep? i seriously want a head count.
They need to fix MEA HDR for Windows Creators. One of the only few HDR games I have tried that exhibit strange colors in HDR mode.

2. Most developers legally cannot discuss what they are working on until it is being prepped for release. In software development EVERYTHING is subject to change right up until final release. If they start talking about a problem they aren't ready to fix or they start talking about a solution that ends up drastically changing the community will complain and generate bad press, and don't tell they won't, I've seen it happen too much before.
Agreed, except it is already released and it doesn't apply in this case. There's nothing here they cannot "legally" talk about since they are only "fixing" things, bugs, sound, dialogues etc.
They are not in the pre/ production/ post-production phase.
The other thing is that developers already stated they will fix things, but people are most likely impatient ๐ I don't think anyone asked developers "What's the content of the new DLC" if there's ever going to be one. The main subject is patching/adjusting/fixing current game.
So what you going to do storm the ivory castle and show them how it done..

It's a pity because i liked the game even with its flaws, but the lack of communication is disrespectful for the people who bought their game.

Besides, i think communication would grant better success. Talking to fans in advance about "what features" would they like to see in a game would avoid storming comments, complaints etc.... after release.

I remeber very well those days, when they called people a vocal minority or "entitled whiners".

They should have engaged with fans even MORE after the ending, to listen and avoid to make other gross mistakes.
But they choose the route of silence, and the sales of Andromeda are not good compared to the other chapters.
So whatever their strategy is now, it is NOT working.

Otherwise they will be remembered as the devs who transformed Mass Effect into No Man's Sky.
LOL At least complaints were only about ME3 ending and Not the whole game ๐ค ... (the ending didn't upset me though, but i heard a lot of people went storming about it)
And yes indeed, it's better to communicate about what people would like or expect to have in a game, rather than facing a LOT of complaints later.
Also, some can be really harsh in criticizing and forgetting that developers are just as "people" as everyone else. No wonder why no communication.
Maybe next time it'll be better.
@draqonin uh.. they are "people" who make a crapload of money because they are SUPPOSED to be good AT their jobs. this isnt people complaining about forgetting the pickles on a mcburger, this is incompetence across the board from a developer who (i cant stress enough) is supposed to be the best in the industry. hmm videogames and food, im liking these parallels. so.. rather than paying 10$ for a mcmeal prepared by an unskilled worker who did a poor job at arranging the toppings on a food item, we have paid for a 100$ "dining experience" served by an ugly hunch backed leper with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth and the meat is raw, the vegetables are over cooked, the salad is rotten, the bread is soggy and made with FAR too much yeast, the wine is vinegar, and theres a family of 9 having a food fight with their children at the next table over! unacceptable!
i cant think of any part of the game i HAVENT seen/heard people complain about is my point! they didnt JUST botch the guns in multiplayer, they didnt JUST use terrible animations, they didnt merely have an occasional crash or save issue.. they failed in every aspect of the game! THAT is why people are showing them no mercy! not because they are terrible people, because they are incompetent people who cant even be bothered to say they are sorry for wiping their butts with one of the few successful sci-fi rpg franchises ever! i want everyone defending bioware to go into your jobs tomorrow and just completely suck at what you do, i mean pretend you are making a how not to video for how to do whatever it is you do... see how far you get before they throw you out and tell you not to come back. because you wont get 1/2 the slack bioware has gotten, biowares boss NEEDS them there to fix the problems, YOUR boss doesnt NEED you.
