Anyone else think the Asari consort is the benefactor?

The Asari consort seems to be the most reasonable choice to be the benefactor. in ME1 she gives Shepard a trinket that she has held onto for years because she knows someone will need it in the future...

She is in the citadel dlc. You can mingle with her. So no.

Yeah, that's all about it. She's doing her usual business at the local cassino.
