Assign Quick Powers ? Mass Effect 1 - Xbox 360

Hi everyone,

I have bought myself mass effect for Xbox 360 and was wondering if quick powers is possible? As an example i have played Mass Effect on PC and you could assign powers to the numbers on your keyborad [1234]. My questions is can i apply the same concept using my Xbox 360 remote using the [ABXY] buttons?
