Hello
Ive got a question regarding ME1, closer to the end, I think it starts at Ilos, the characters turned into black squard pixles. Later everything just froze,its just weird. Nothing happens. I've tried to reload the game, still the same.
Got any ideas how to fix this?

Does the visual problem start on Ilos? Normally it begins sooner.
This problem is caused by incompatibility with the entire AMD FX processor line-up. Normally the issue also occurs on Noveria.
I posted a workaround in this thread, which is borrowed from an older thread on the Mass Effect forums.
The freezing is unrelated and may be caused by data corruption. This can be fixed by reinstalling or repairing the game.

Actually, I played ME-1 and ME-2 with my AMD X2 machines. Those were all I had at the time. I have tested with the AMD Phenom, and it was fine, but when they changed to the FX (think that was the first wacky one), they dropped some backward compatble X86 instructions that are still included in the Intel CPUs, and haven't repaired that omission since then.
I mis-typed. I typed PC instead of FX. Silly me.
I have most recently played the game on a Phenom II, which works without issues.
