I have already made the suggested change in UberPostProcessBlendPixelShader.usf. But that didn't fix the issue.
The postings I've seen so far all deal with overall excessive shadows. But my issue is with just the character faces specifically. It's not really shadows, but more like blocky black patches all over faces. It doesn't affect game play. But it does make the game less enjoyable because during cut scenes the character faces are severely distorted by these black patches.
