Blackface Glitch

So, I just started the endgame of ME3.

The paramour cutscene started and Garrus's armour had no texture and looked like a black onesie almost. I didn't pay it any mind and just did the Cerberus base, where that issue disappeared.

In the cutscene that gives the big reveal about the Citadel moving to Earth though, my Shepard's face is a coal-black void with eyes.

I've tried reloading the game and the save, turning off the console and restarting and nothing has worked. I'm on an Xbox One, which I think might be half the problem, given I've never had this issue before but I'm sort of hoping someone has a fix besides restarting the game.

    Strange issue indeed. Any chance you can get us a screenshot of this? Then you were turning off your console, have you disconnected it from power supply? Reinstalling the game might also solve this.

    Strange issue indeed. Any chance you can get us a screenshot of this? Then you were turning off your console, have you disconnected it from power supply? Reinstalling the game might also solve this.

    I don't have a screenshot of my particular instance of this happening, but I have seen other instances after a quick google search:

    Basically the same thing that happened, except with Garrus's armour for two scenes and female Shepard's face.

    Strangely, when I actually completed the game and the save reverted back to before the start of the end game sequence, the problem was fixed, so it appears to be a problem with the endgame sequence.

    I didn't disconnect from the power supply and reinstalling is something of a last resort, given internet speed in Australia.

    I'll give reinstalling a go however. So far as glitches go, this is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever seen and not just from an uncanny valley perspective.

    Well colour me surprised, reinstalling the game has fixed the issue.

    I just started a new game with the imported save and where before shepard's face was a black hole, it's back to normal now.

    Before when I tried this, shepard's face remained black even when altering it in the character creator.
