[BUG] ME1 Framerate drop after killing docile salarians on Virmire

When killing the docile salarians in their cell on Virmire, the framerate is reduced to an unplayable level. Saving and reloading doesn't fix it. Shutting down the game and resuming also doesn't work...

This happened to me too. 

It seemed to fix itself when I ran into the crazy salarian in the cell that kills himself when I didn't let him out. 

EDIT: Nevermind. I had to go back and found the lag again. But it cleared up when I reached Rana.
