I reinstalled the game (removed everything including save games) and started over with a new ME2 import. This time I could pick up the SMG parts so I kept playing but 5 minutes later I reached the room with the sterilizer controls where I found the “Shotgun High Caliber Barrel” and “Sniper Rifle Extended Barrel” mods. I tried to pick them up but guess what? It doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter how many times I reload a previous save, it just won’t work.
This pisses me off. The game is what, 2 years old now? I can’t believe a game breaking bug lite this is still around, especially not in such a successful and popular franchise. Do they even care anymore or are they too busy with ME4? I know for sure I’m not buying ME4 if I can’t play through ME3 because of this bullsh*t.
