Cannot change tech skills

I'm at the skills page and am trying to change my current loadout of tech skills. If I assign a new power it just replaces the power in the first slot which I want to keep. I'm trying to change the power in the second slot, but I can find no way to select that slot or reorder the skills to the three that I want. Help! 🙂

    Thanks for the reply. The borders are there, but the left and right arrows do nothing. I've tried clicking with the mouse and other keys with no success.

    SOLVED! I had to select the power, hit assign, then click in the circle where I want to put it!

    Hi @shegeek72. You have a limit of 3 powers that you can assign, so if you're already on the limit then you can only assign a power by replacing another. But if you mean that you currently only have one power assigned, and not managing to assign a 2nd or 3rd, then hope this helps. On my game there is a visible border around the active slot, and by default I think it always makes the first slot active once you try to assign a power. Then you have to change the active slot with Left & Right arrow buttons to make sure you're assigning to the correct slot.

    It's not entirely unexpected that someone gets confused by MEA's menus. The UI and menu design, particularly for PC input, is probably the worst in any BioWare game of the last three generations, and there has been some stiff competition.

    I finished my first two complete runs without figuring out how to level-up companions or use consumables!  😛

    @ThandalNLyman My favorite part is in the multiplayer lobby where the same key can at times bring you to a detailed overview of the players, and at other times vote kick a selected player.
