Can't get to a location

I am doing the "find Ruth Bekker quest" and I have traced her to Kadar (the last step) When it shows
the quest location on my map, it is in the black area. It is to the northwest on the Kadar slums map.
I am driving the nomad and every time I start to enter the area where the map is black, the game tells
me that I am leaving the mission area. Also there are two memory keys in this area. I have tried it
from all different angles but each time I hit the black area, I get the message. I have already spent a
lot of time on this quest. I am about ready to let her die there. But I need to know what it means when
the quest marker is in a black area. (I have googled this with no luck) I thought maybe the black area
meant something on a different level but I see no way to get to a different level.

here is the map to kadara. might be she is in a cave. i remember doing this quest before i don't remember the location it took place. but maybe this full map will help you see the location better. the map starts from the slums in the lower middle right. it shouldn't be hard to miss
Thanks for all the answers. I will try the tracks again, but at times, it seemed like I was going in circles.
I must say that compared to other boards, this is a great place to get help and fast too.
On the map above, the location number 26 is what you need. Thats where the shuttle is crashed. Scan it, and then follow the tracks.
SpoilerLet the angara kill her. She deserves to die after scanning half of the system for her.👿If you cannot get there still just do a few quests on other planets and try to go back see if the problem goes away. Or colonize Kadara if you havent already.
SpoilerNot sure if it helps because otherwise you wouldnt get the quest but after making your outpost you are able to fight the Architect and that is beyond that area and if something, the Architect should be able to allow you to go there.Edit: Also Kadara as others mentioned not an usual map that you can simply get over the hill, descend and bam you are arrived to your destination. Often you are considered leaving the mission area and teleported back even though you are going the right way. Though cannot remember if that mission requires doing that, but try to follow the roads and show off later to whoever you romanced your mad nomad driving skills 😃
I know what you are talking about, I'm on pc. Basically you went too far. Back track. There was another road that you should have taken. It actually doesn't look like a road until you are close to the top of the hill. If you can't find it, try just going up and over before you reach the road that takes you to the out of mission area.
