Try to repair the game. (in Origin > Game Library > right click ME2 > Repair)

If that don't works, please report back.

I tried that, and no difference. Anything else you suggest that could help?

    @Lspaceship

    Try this to isolate the error.

    - Close Origin completely.

    - Disable your Network addapter.

    - Start Origin (It should start into offline mode)

    - test the game.
