Challenge tracking out of sync with achievements

So did I post this in the wrong place? I was under the impression that this was where you should go for help. Can anyone tell me if I'm in the right place to get help or do I need to deal with EA support?

After two more promotions it seems the count has settled at one less than the actual number - ah well, I guess this is just a glitch, but it makes me wonder how accurate the other challenges are if something as simple as tracking promotions isn't working correctly.
