I am having the freezing issue in Citadel DLC at the same point in the Archives after stepping into the transport from the platform. Right after the dialog "Accessing Vault T91" the sound starts looping. The only way out is to restart the computer. Tried different sound hardware and replaying from different points before the freeze point, but no luck.
I have a similar problem but a little bit after, when (spoiler) team mako is surrounded and the cinematic plays.
2 or 3 seconds after being able to control shepard, the game freezes and i'm forced to restart my computer.
yea i've got the same problem except mines way sooner (spoiler) it starts when sheppard is talking to joker in the sushi lounge and that fleet person enters the lounge, I don't know her name cause i've never gotten past her getting past the bouncer.
Solved Update: Repairing the installation was not successful. However, after installing the game again on another system with faster internet connection, and then replacing the Citadel DLC files on the the computer that had the freezing issue with the newer Citadel DLC install files, I have been able to continue through the DLC.
In my case it seems corrupted download/files were the problem. Best of luck.
