Citadel: Signal Tracking - Unable to holster weapons or interact

Just before reaching the final signal trace and interacting with the murderous AI, I deployed Tech Mines around the power conduit, now my squad and I have our weapons drawn and are unable to interact with anything.

Can not open doors, talk to vendors or other NPCs, nor can I interact with the "Signal Source" to complete the mission.

I can change my squad mates weapons, and use their skills, but not my own.

Oddly not repeatable.
