New Game Mass Effect
Hello BioWare Team, As a long-time and dedicated fan of the Mass Effect series, I would like to contribute an idea regarding story continuity in the upcoming game. Given the various endings of Mass Effect 3 and the teaser with Liara and the N7 armor, it's clear that addressing this will be crucial for many. I propose the following approach, which would respect player choices while allowing for a strong continuation of the story: * Allow save imports from any Mass Effect 3 ending: Enable players to transfer their saved game regardless of which ME3 ending they chose (Destroy, Control, Synthesis, Refuse). This would honor their investment and emotional decisions. * Canonicalize the "Destroy" ending (with Shepard's survival) through additional content: * For players who import a save from the "Destroy" ending (under conditions where Shepard survives), the new game would unlock special dialogues, side quests, and deeper interactions related to Shepard's return and their romantic relationships. This would serve as a direct continuation of their story. * Explanation for Shepard's survival: This could be simply linked to the nanotechnology and enhancements Shepard received through Project Lazarus in Mass Effect 2. If Shepard survived such an ordeal, surviving the final explosion, supported by these enhancements, would make sense. * EDI's fate: Similarly, if the Normandy could be repaired (as suggested by the scene after the Destroy ending), EDI, as its integral digital component, could also be restored in some way, perhaps in a different form or requiring reactivation. Her deep connection to the ship could serve as a bridge. * For other endings: If a player imports a save from another ending (Control, Synthesis, Refuse), the new game could assume that Shepard did not physically survive and became a legend. Dialogues and the story in such cases would focus on Shepard's legacy and its repercussions, but without directly continuing their personal relationship storylines. Players would still be immersed in the world, but would be subtly motivated to try the Destroy ending if they wish to experience the "complete" narrative. I believe this approach would allow BioWare to continue Shepard's powerful story (as hinted by the teaser), while respecting the diversity of player choices and providing players with clear motivation. Hey everyone, fellow Mass Effect fans! I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now and I'd love to hear what you all think about it. It's about connecting the Mass Effect 3 endings with the new game and the potential return of Shepard. My thought is that BioWare could allow us to import our saves from ME3 with any ending, but the dialogue options related to romantic relationships and full Shepard continuity would only unlock if you chose the "Destroy" ending where Shepard survives. This could be explained by the nanotechnology from the Lazarus Project. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it would help BioWare elegantly bridge the story and also respect player choices? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!21Views0likes0Comments[PC] - MELE 2 ACT 3 UNPLAYABLE!! Can't enter Omega-4 Relay!
Hello! I am a new Mass Effect player who is about to finish MELE 2 with an imported Custom Female Shepard (was modded with cosmetics and textures, but I had restored the game back to vanilla). I am playing the game on Steam. I had just finished all the assignments I could possibly find along with finishing all the missions, including the completion of installing the Reaper IFF. After the last cutscene of the Normandy Assault where we played as Joker, I realised that the interactable NPCs (Kelly, Doctor Chakwas, and Mess Sergeant Gardner) were still present in the Normandy despite the mission stating that ALL crew members were abducted by the Collectors. I already felt that there was a problem upcoming. As soon as I clicked on the Omega-4 Relay on the map, it had no option to land. My only option available was to press the back button, but the Journal stated that I need to enter the Omega-4 Relay for my next mission. Basically, the game became unplayable after the Reaper IFF installation. On another note, another small bug's been lingering in my game, and I wonder if it has contributed to the existence of the Omega-4 Relay bug. I have Dossier: The Assassin still marked incomplete in Journal, even though Thane has already been recruited and became loyal. It says I have to go to Dantius Bridge but it's practically impossible since I already completed the mission. I assumed it was because my game was modded, so here's a list of what I've tried to fix the game: Restored my ENTIRE MELE game to back to vanilla. Deleted game progress until I was back to the mission where I obtain the Reaper IFF and replayed from that point onwards in vanilla. Still same result. Replayed Thane's recruitment mission, but I still have his mission marked incomplete in Journal. Got Steam to verify file integrity but no corrupt files were found after I restored the game to vanilla. I will attach the related files here. Hopefully I can get my game fixed! I would like to get to this issue as soon as possible as I want to get my Shepard imported to MELE 3 and obtain the Long Service Medal achievement!! Thank you :]! *Note, I found a user on Reddit with my exact same issue (Dossier: The Assassin bug included). They stated that they are also playing MELE on Steam with no mods, so I assume mods may not be the issue for the bug?achievements are not unlocked
I just finished Mass Effect 2 via Steam, and I got a romance with Miranda and completed it on Insanity. When I did this, the respective achievements were not unlocked. I clarify that I never touched anything about the difficulty. I spent 42 hours playing to get the Platinum, and this is happening to me.😢😢27Views0likes0CommentsMines barrier mission

With Xbox going down in flames at the current moment, us as gamers really need a positive/win. I think it would be absolutely amazing if EA/Bioware would make the Mass Effect trilogy on the Nintendo Switch 2. I really hope someone over there reads this. With all the negativity going on currently please give us something to have faith in EA/Bioware, doing this game on the Switch 2 would show good faith. Thank you for taking some of your time and reading this and I hope that everyone has a great day or night.Mass Effect LE takes 5-10 minutes to start
Every time I start the game, it shows up the "preparing" screen for a while and then it disappears. But after 5-10 minutes the game actually starts. After start the game runs fine with no issue. What I'm trying to say is that this "delay" of starting the game is "unnatural" and no reason for it to be this delayed thinking there is some issue with the game. I fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA app but it still delays the launch of the game.Solved105Views0likes7CommentsBug Report - "N7: Javelin Missiles Launched" Assignment
In Mass Effect 2: Legendary Edition (played on Xbox Series X), there are several bugs in the "N7: Javelin Missiles Launched" Assignment: Every Batarian Trooper is incorrectly referred to as "Prison Guard" in their health bar; Many human corpses have a very low-resolution texture applied to their armor; If those corpses wear helmets, their faceplates have a Blue Suns texture that doesn't match the rest of their armor; At the end of the mission, when the player stands in front of two monitors and chooses which part of the colony to save, the wrong monitor goes dead (e.g. if Shepard chooses to save the residential area, then the image of the residential area turns to static, as if the residential area was destroyed instead of being saved). [See attached screenshots]Mass Effect Legendary edition and deadspace remastered
Dead Space Remastered was remastered based on Mass Effect Legendary Edition and so was Elite Dangerous. and It is no secret that Bioware originally used Deadspace as a template for Mass Effect 2 and 3 as well as Dead Space 2 & 3 as well. BUT both games share one particular flaw : that is the currency(Credits) and NOT ENOUGH OF THEM AND EVERYTHING AND ALL UPGRADES ARE BLOODY EXPENSIVE! I am sure this WAS PROBABLY a design and developer's oversight on EA/BIOWARE'S part, but it would be nice to actually have the amount of credits that were originally intended without the cap on the credits from the original 360 versions as well as increasing the amount of credits and do not have the randomization script tied to the credits as well this seriously is detrimental to the gameplay and the same goes for Dead Space Remastered as well! Also in the Original 360 games all upgrades from Mass Effect 2 were integraded and covered in mass effect 3 ,but the LE was streamlined a bit and this also had a detrimental effect too as the Extended Fuel Cells were never added to ME3LE and was 15,000 but is only 1,000 and should be 10,000. and Deadspace Remastered is great and I love it and that is about my only gripe is there is not nearly enough credits in both games along with the upgrades not being integraded form Mass Effect 2 into ME3 as well as NG+ in ME@ where as a soldier you could aquire all weapons the Revenant,Widow,Claymore and as well as not just training foras originally intended in the May 2021v update any character you can pick an Advanced weapon and your last current loadout would be the current loadout you "aquire" in NG+ after you wake up in ME2 as originally Intended in the may 2021 day one update.
