Dragon Age lore is being worked on for the next game *sips coffee*

Yeah, read about that. Never tried Dragon Age. I'm not in the best of the moods to get into another Open World game, specially one made by Bioware. Still going on my W3 playthrough, 115 hours or so, B&W expansion. Not in a rush either.
I was reading that Final Fantasy 12 will have a remastered 'updated' version coming out for PS4. I hope it'll come for Steam in a not so far future. Seeing many other FF games becoming available for Steam and the only gap now is 12 between X-2 and XIII, it feels like they were preparing this one for a port of this improved version. Some features were tweaked. FF12 is also the sort of 'open world' situation I would think would work best for Mass Effect story telling.

Only DA:I is really more like an open world game, the first two are not. But each game has a different protagonist entirely. The stories are part of a greater story line I guess but it's not the story line of you anymore in the last game. That's why I loved the first two DA games, in spite of all their flaws, but really couldn't play DA:I more than once. The open world aspect also didn't help. One of the most annoying parts there is that you can travel to all kinds of zones but it doesn't tell you the level range till you get there so you may be in for a nasty surprise. Particularly annoying because the map travel is actually quite clunky too.
I really don't know what it is with BW and UIs lately. DA:O was so much better in that. It's like they had a huge brainfart or something.
Man, I love DAI. If I wasn't addicted to MAE right now I'd be playing it and FO4.
The gameplay in Inquisition is addictive. Champion with 2H sword plows through anyone on nightmare š„³

DAI was a good story, I just have issues playing it through a second time. I really don't know why, I have no problems playing MEA twice.
Fo4 I only played once as well .. havent even played the expansions for it yet. That one I can see me playing through again at some point. DAI i usually get bored before I even leave the hinterlands.
There is a bit of a slog to begin with. And you can't branch out too early, as some of the zones are way above the low levels.

i can remember a few such fights, and the ones that weren't basically insta-kills were really good, like the waterfall in the hinterlands with those despair demons.

I run away from it and go back later šš. That rift is higher level than most of the rest of the hinterlands and you can sneak around it easy enough.
Ah, I love the "HEY MAYBE YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE HINTERLANDS?!?!!" rift.
It's a clear sign that you *will* fail and you should come back later, but I always try to beat it anyway.

This all is really OT, not a sign of coffee in it, so I would use my moderating powers to remove it, but I can't hit the button, my hands are shaking because of too much coffee. ā

Occupational Therapy is a good thing, with or without coffee. In fact, you may need some if your hands are shaking regularly from coffee overdose. šø
Oops... slip of the symbol... sorry. I meant ā
Just to point out this is a fictional character.

I actually drink and enjoy black coffee the way some people enjoy wine. Love the different roasts, grinds, and sources, and I always drink it black. But THAT my friend puts you in a whole different league than me. My hat is off to you. Do you still have skin inside your mouth? š
Take the XP, just for your courage.
I've done chilli challenges in the past and i actually am very resilient to chilli, including dishes prepared with the california reaper etc.
although i'm not foolhardy, i will admit defeat with chilli's at times. This coffee however does interest me and i've no idea how the blend will actually taste yet.. it might taste yuk in which case after 1 or 2 cups i just bin it, but i'm guessing if a company wants to sell multiple bags of a product they will have got the blend at least palatable to the chilli loving masses.
My main coffee's are mostly all strength 9-11's for intensity but i just liked the sound of this chilli one as a bit of a punt š
