Talking to with one of their specialists, this error is due to BioWare changing their front end on BSN.
They are working on a fix and will update as soon as they can (seeing as they royally borked the system).
If you are experiencing the same issue it is recommended that you call in to their help people and get them to transfer you to the speciallists as they are tracking all issues.
I used the chat system and the person helping me contacted the specialists. He told me that he linked my origin with a new serial number but for some reason I was not able to see that from my side and my game still had the same serial number. I was told to reinstall the game and the problem is still here.

Ork, see my previous post.
There's nothing that they can do for it at this point. The specialists might think that initially but certain ones (I guess who are more well informed) will tell you it's due to a recent change in the front end and the system is not communicating properly at the moment.
They are working on a fix and will get back however they did say to call in or what not and specifically say that you're having the issue with the system not communicating properly and were told to contact as BioWare wants info so they can try to track it down without taking down their entire system.

How do we call them, I haven't seen a phone number listed anywhere.
I recently purchased ME2 Digital deluxe and ME3 digital deluxe through gamersgate, the serials seemed to work fine through origin and BSN but I'm getting the same error message as most people here.
I'd love to call and raise hell, but all the support links I click on are dead.
