Ok, here's another weird coincidence. So Alec has been working on these crazy experimental implants (with Ellen) made to keep Ellen alive when she should be dead. During this time Miranda, Wilson, and the rest of Project Lazurus were working on these crazy experimental implants made to make Shepard alive when he/she should be dead. I think I got it now. The reapers are behind it all in the end. The only reason Alec and Ellen managed to develop the tech they did (implant and AI) is because the Reapers let them. Then the reapers found out about the Initiative and thought that starting all over with a new group of people would be a good idea. This way the new society in Andromeda would incorporate AI as a normal part of society before returning to the Milky Way to repopulate with AI controlled living beings. Of course then Shepard screwed things up and took over the Reapers or killed them and now all bets are off. Jien Garcen was murdered by a Reaper agent as she was finding out too much, but this Reaper agent doesn't realise the Reapers are bust. All SAMs are just unwittingly servants of the Reaper agent. But who that exactly is, well, that remains to be seen.... <quietly puts tin foil hat away>

A higher position of power. Including purposely ditching the Krogan - the one species capable of surpassung humans due to their fast fertility and birth rates. He was probably hoping it would cause a war and have the Krogan wiped out before they could become an issue. Cerberus learned of the Kett and used that to their advantage, probably made a deal with them - we will give you the dna of the other aliens if you leave humans alone and give us Meridian. I don't care if TIM himself is around or not, the whole thing reeks of cerberus. Wouldn't be surprised of they are plotting a way to out Tann and put a human in charge. Addison would be next in line because they aren't going to give it to Kesh and our resident Turian is still too green and was also never part of the original command structure. He kinda fell into his position. Killing Tann would be too easy and draw too much attention, has to be something else, a way to publicly discredit him for now he isn't that much of an issue, so there is no rush. He is too much of a pushover and is busy sucking up to the human pathfinder so they can bide their time with him. And I could go on but thats enough. :D

They probably stole ideas from each other and other people working on implants, I'd suspect.

I thought Shepard was that voodoo doll which belonged to the Leviathan to reconquer Milky Way?

Yeah, poor writing would be the most likely explanation, but I can see why people would be triggered by that word. I just don't think that BW's writing has that level of depth in their writing so I'm with you on that.

Just as a thought, is Reyes' "Ex" girlfriend really dead, or did he just shoo us away, break out a little medigel, and thank her for a job well done?

She just seems like too much of an interesting and well developed character to just be one offed like that

Considering I usually shoot her (with semi-automatic grenades) I'm pretty sure she's dead. And I scanned her body afterwards. :P

so did i, not the grenades thing mind you, but the shooting, then scanning afterwards... though, i think a few times i used biotic detonations too. kind of grenade-ish

Here's a conspiracy for you. At the end of ME3 the Normandy crash lands on a planet that looks an awful lot like a golden world. So, what if the Normandy, and possibly some of the other warships in transit got pushed a lot further than we assumed and actually got chucked out to Andromeda, long before the Initiative arrived, although possibly in a different cluster. If this is the case we might eventually run into them later, both as the original races and possibly new ones.
Possible encounters: Matriarch Liara and her 1 or more blue Shepard babies (c'mon, whether or not Shepard dates her, given the size of her crush and the number of times she's "embraced eternity" with Shepard it's a given)😉
EDI and Joker's Cylon-race decedents, and possibly EDI😃😎
The Flitan Floghtila, a Quarian-Turian mixed race possibly started by Tali and Garrus❤️
The Sons of Vengeance, a Prothean-Human mixed race possibly mothered by Shepard if she survives (I'm a romantic at heart, so if the Crucible-Relay interaction sends ships to Andromeda it might as well send the contents of the Citadel or the Citadel itself as well, so Shepard can be reunited with their LI if surviving)👿:eahigh_file:

the normandy never left the milkyway or else the wave would not have been a issue as the wave simply effected the milky way and nothing beyond and let's talk about this mythic mass effect wave why did everyone run from it ... in only 1 ending would it actually cause damage to the normandy there was no reason to run at all in the synthic or reaper control ending

I would run from it, not knowing exactly what a galactic-wide explosion would do if it reached me. You must remember that only Shepard knew what was coming. Joker simply saw a rainbow supernova coming to get their buttocks.

it was futile gesture though even as the "fastest" known ship in the galaxy the normandy could not out run it which would imply that the bigger ships like the dreadnaughts would have been equally screwed but i suppose having the whole allied fleet crash on random planets wouldn't warrent a cutscene :D

Well, each people would react differently before the unknown. Some would be dancing the conga as the blast reached them, I reckon. Or mating.
