Hey guys! Hoping this isn’t a dead forum. I’m currently having the same problem (Expanded Mod ME:LE), but on Steam Deck. Tried to figure out how to get the overclock as low as possible, but wasn’t able to get it down to 0. I crash at the very beginning of M3 Eden Prime right when Liara starts talking. Anyone found a fix to this?
This fixed the issue for me, thank you. At least I have been able to get past the first conversation at Eden Prime where you call the elevator and they discuss the stasis pod.
I opened MSI afterburner, used the profile to set the GPU overclock to 0, close MSI afterburner and now I can progress.
Absolutely bizarre issue and even more bizarre to see some of the advice from EA.

Only happens in ME3LE and not the other 2 games, nor a single other game in my library of hundreds.
It's definitely a game problem.
Yeah that didnt work. What finally did it was to lower the resolution to 720 then I could finally play it.
So I did revert to an older save and played through the rest of the game, didn't have a single crash after 25 hours, even Omega, Citadel and Leviathan DLC worked fine. Decided to just skip this Eden Prime DLC and watch a playthrough on youtube instead. I now however went to attack the Cerberus Headquarters mission. After all the cutscenes and the mission begins in the hangar, the game crashes similar to Eden Prime mission. So after putting down 85 hours on all three games combined (not a single crash in ME1 or ME2) now I cannot finish it. ☹️
Hi, I tried verifying the files and disabling my sound card. it still crashes.

Did you repaired the game?
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
If yes, the driver for the ASUS Xonar Sound device is not digitally signed.
Can you test with a different sound device?
I tried turning off MSI AB.
The crash now even occurs when in the shuttle, before the mission starts on the planet even. So I cannot run through it.
