The game is beauty and, at last, the ME1 is a fair "remaster", but for me (and other Brazilians gamers) this Legendary Edition "just got a lot more complicated" an exist 2 reasons for this:
First: For us (Brazilians), the full price of the Game represents a 1/3th of the basic wage, so every discount will be pleased for those (like ME!) already purchased the original trilogy and ALL the DLC's (who cost more than original trilogy vanilla games). I spent a lot of hours playing the Original Trilogy and I would like, as a fan, that I have an acknowledgment of it. I'll give you a very simple example: When I bought the Ubisoft Assassin's Creed Odyssey game, the Deluxe version, I bought it at a discount and, in addition to the game with the DLC's, came the complete Remastered Assassin's Creed III and the complete Assassin's Creed HD Liberation, FOR FREE. Another example: The game Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition was presented as a free update for those who bought the original PC version. I am not asking for a free version, but that has at least a representative discount for those who are already fans of the original.
Second: For us (Brazilians), the non-existence of a minimal localization (A.K.A. Subtitles), move aways the possible new gamers who could easily embark on the full range of products in addition to games, bringing considerable revenue to EA. And here I've heard posts talking about the importance of learning English (which for me is not a problem) and that one of the probable explanations for not having a subtitle in my language would be the Brazilian public's lack of interest in EA games or even the volume of players. But if it really exists, it is precisely because of this neglect of including a Subtitle in PT-BR that there is this lack of interest. A game extremely dense and rich in its history should not only have subtitles in PT-BR but in many other languages. This would open up a much wider range of fans, with a greater engagement even for the Andromeda franchise and for the next M.E. announced shortly by EA. Many times I missed presenting the game to my friends just because I don't have a localization in my language. Friends who could become fans and bring more revenue to EA and Bioware.
There will be other ways for less privileged players to play this game (and that is TOTAL your fault, EA!) And luckily in Brazil we have game translation teams that will probably find a way to do ("FOR FREE") a service that EA / Bioware (and put them both because, in my ignorance, I don't know whose fault this was) could have remedied with less than 1% of this Remake's production.
And there's also something... this translation didn't even need to come out at launch, it could be something later, maybe in an update, and that could be told, it would be great, but all the comments asking for a translation in PT-BR or are neglected or simply ignored by the staff, unfortunately.
I'm still not going to buy the game, 1 for the full price (which resolves over time) and 2 for the lack of a location, even if it is just subtitles from the dialogues. when (if) these two points are resolved, then I click on "buy game".
