On the romances: it works like in the first three games: you can tell that some romances are more worked on and seem to have more impact than others. In the first games it was basically Liara, you could tell that was the romance they wanted you to choose, and in this one it's Peebee, Cora and maybe Jaal. At least it's three instead of one. The others feel like secondary options just like in the original games.
Liam should not be a "side" romance. At all.
Kaidan got a great romance in Mass Effect, as did Garrus.
Andromeda promosed plenty of "banging" and only what? Three characters got sex scenes in the entire game?
In the original games they all got a sex scene. This just feels lazy and undone. Sara Ryder should have at least one decent human male option. Which should probably be Liam since he is the only one who counts towards the achievement. They give us the first decent dark male romance option who isn't a cheater like Jacob, and then slap us in the face with a terrible incomplete romance. The character overall is amazing, the romance is so poor that its barely a romance at all.
All of the romances in the original, even the side romances had better sexy scenes and build up than this game has. I know they can do so much better.
First of all BW should patch all the bugs that makes the game unplayable for a lot of pleople (thankfully I haven't run into one - yet). And what I would love to see is an improved Menu. It drives me nuts the way it is now. Click here, search there, menu, submenues - never had something so confusing in a BW game before. I even have to check the completed quests when I want to get rid of the quest marks and my "Click X to mark as read" not working anymore. Please consider an improve.
After that - the romances. Well, sometimes I get the impression (and don't get me wrong, I love BW games) there is this thinking: Ok, let's make the straight male happy first. Give them a good romance and well, also enough f/f options because a lot of them love to see that, too. And this way the f/f faction is happy as well. Don't forget the m/m - oh wait, we did... but we'll correct that, promise!
But wait, wasn't there another faction? Hmm, who could that be?....... Ah yes, the straight females... but hey, most of the time we don't hear that much complains so they seem to be happy with whatever we give them. A Kaidan that get's magically bi in ME 3, an adorable Thane who, well... dies (and has no "real" sex" scene ). A Jacob who is an - sorry - a... ole. A great Garrus - thankfully even without a real "sex" scene. But well, the girls seems to be happy with it, they seem to be happy even without some "nice straight sex" or a well made romance at all. Four options, two of them human but either not straight or a looser. Two aliens (and no, I have nothing against alien romance but well, one of it dies and/or is in the "no sexy scene" cathegory). And now in ME:A? Wow... just one, Jaal. And who would have guessed? Again a alien... And somehow I got the impression you have problems to show naked men with all the "necessary assets". Why so? It seems not to bother you when it comes to the girls.
Please BW - don't pretent we do not exist. And we aren't a "negligible" faction that needs no attention. We want our piece of "cake", too. Even if there is just Liam - at least we want a adequate romance like for example the straight male Cora romance. Even if we have to wait two months for it.
Thank you.

I don't even need to see below the belt, or even a naked butt as nice as that would be - but a sex scene and a couple of actual steamy kisses along the way, that would be nice. At least sexy it up a bit !
That ugly couch kiss that faded to black, just was not sexy. At all.
Ryder has lovely quarters, use them.
Theres an entire ship with plenty of corners for a random steamy kiss. Or a bunch of lovely planets.
As I said. If you don't take thst early, off screen sex scene with Liam, the one on the ugly dirty couch that fades to black. The one that could even possibly just be a one night stand. The one thats an interrupt even. You don't even get a kiss with Liam before he is talking about getting serious, all you get is a forehead touch. Your serious long before that final romance scene you have to go back to Eos for, before you finally see a kiss and thats it. Thats all you get,
Its horrible for a supposed serious romance. He even mentions marriage and setting down, like gee Liam hows about a couple of kisses and sex first so it feels more than just a close friendship hrm??
Why do straight females always get over looked, or get the bad romances like Jacob or Thane?
It's just not right.
We game to.
Not saying that the m/m didn’t need improvements as well. They certainly do and get over looked a lot as well. Just saying they aren't the only ones who get over looked a lot when it comes to char romances. Straight females do too.

They dramatically improved Addison's eyes. Sara Ryder's eyes also look a bit better.
@illequine I think they said it would last an hour.

Aaaand there's now weird annotations in the dialogue options, a number sometimes accompanied by a couple of letters.

Still downloading the patch. Addison's eye's do look better, but Ryder, which is the face you see most in cut scenes etc. still has that 70 IQ everything surprises me look. Does she still have that skeletal mouth movement in cut scenes? Where she looks like a corpse whose skin is drying up and receding.

Same problem here.

Hi, I can not strart the game after the patch. I get an error message that I am missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll Was fine until the patch. Any ideas?

Wow for me inplace of fixing the game it made it worse, can not even start it now just a black screen after the patch.
Going to reinstall the hole game but wow broke a game that was already broken.

Still no details for the singleplayer balance changes?

I haven't had log in troubles, but this patch broke my graphics. Everything was perfect before with how things looked now they look like * even when I put everything on ultras it seems off. There are also various things I hate like the numbers they added to the chat wheels. If they were smaller and less in your face then id probably be ok with them. The chat options don't highlight the same anymore either and now there are weird loading shaders messages at load screens when my graphics were beautiful before.
So far the ONLY thing I like about this patch is the ability to skip past flight stuff from one location to another.
At this point im tempted to reinstall the game and then play it offline only without patching it if possible.

I doubt they fixed that. They said they fixed some animations in this patch, but the bigger fixes are planned for upcoming patches.

Just had my first NPC dialog since the patch and I have to agree with what others have said, the adding of hotkey indicators to the wheel was not a good idea, it just adds clutter to the previous otherwise clean text, an option to toggle off the view of these hotkeys would be a really good idea if they intend to keep this feature O.o

Actually, they had to have done some with it. I restarted a game and in the cut scene where they leave Habitat-7 and she wakes up in Sam node, it seems much less pronounced. Still a little too over the top, but does seem better. Also, the surprised all the time eye's seem to be gone.

So.. you are saying that "Single player balance changes: Ammo crates, armor, weapons, attacks, and progression" are the exact same as the multiplayer changes? I think not.
SINGLEPLAYER balance changes, not multiplayer.

Oops, sorry. You are right.
