[EA app] Mass Effect Andromeda Installation Error

I'm going crazy over here. I installed the game just fine last week, several days ago, I put some hours into both singleplayer and multiplayer. I uninstalled (via the EA app option, didn't mess with the files manually). I decided to reinstall and today I keep getting the installation error at about 84%. I have successfully downloaded and installed two other games, so it can't be a general problem with the EA app. I have tried running the EA app as admin. Same error. I have restarted my computer. I have an nvidia GPU in the laptop and the geforce app just prompted a driver update today, so "my graphics drivers are out of date" also doesn't track as the cause. 

I was playing MEA on Sunday. Why can't I install it two days later?

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste:  "%temp%"   (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
      (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    Then clear your EA app cache > Test
