Eclipse glitch with Sayn

Hello,

I have the well known bug where Bailey isn't confirming that I completed the quest with Aria's Eclipse by telling Sayn to take over Eclipse. I talked to Sayn, he accepted and immediatly left the game. When I came back, the game was glitched and Bailey won't confirm the quest. I have no saves available to redo the the conversation with Sayn, so I'm kind of blocked. I tried everything.

Please, help me.

  • The conversation triggers when you walk through the scanner/barrier thing near the elevator for the Docks Holding Area. Occasionally you can get a trigger to reset by leaving the area and doing something else; then return and (if you’re lucky) the trigger resets. Since you said that you tried everything I'm guessing that that did not work.

The only other thing that would fix it is to reload a prior save.

I say only because I'm sure editing the save game (PC only) is viable.

Am I going to get an answer at some point ?

Sorry to hear about this.  But no one here is under any obligation to respond to you.

The AHQ is for "player-to-player" technical self-help and game-play discussions.

We're all just fellow gamers, doin' the best we can...

If no one answers, maybe it's because no one knows an answer.  😕mileysad:

  • Why has Bioware switched its technical support to Answer HQ for Mass Effect 3 ?

I would have liked to have an answer from a guy that actually work there, because I've never seen someone from Bioware's staff answering this issue.

    Anyway, thanks

  • The AHQ is not the "official technical support".  It's just where they archived the old "social.bioware.com" Tech Support topics.

"Official Support" is obtained from the EA Game Advisors.

Contact them using the Help Center (link in the top-right of every page here.)

    ---------------------------------------------------

After getting to the Help Center and filling out the required information, (Product/Problem/Platform)
look for the "Chat Now", "Call Me", or "Email Now" buttons, not the AHQ "Ask Now" one.  (You've already done that.)

NOTE: The options you see may vary depending on your region and the time-of-day.

If you select "Chat Now", be sure you have enough time to wait before being connected to someone.  😕mileyfrustrated:

I always allow for it to take at least one hour, and am pleasantly surprised when it's less.

    Good Luck!
