Elaaden Vault Question
Has anyone gotten the second Rem-tech "Grab it!" box on the way out after rebooting the vault? Even when going straight for it, the death wave catches up to kill me.

I'm wondering if the 1.10 patch did something to change the difficulty of this one. I've been trying to do it on insanity with no luck. I'm no weak player either. I've tried it with jet-forwarding, with straight running (no jet-forwards), going across the bridge, using the extra pillars instead of the bridge, cutting as many corners and trimming as much time as possible... all to no avail. No matter what I do or how well I do it I always end up just a few feet from the final console and the vent cloud insta-kills me.
Oh btw, on insanity the cloud INSTA-kills you, did I mention that? Using a shield boosting consumable does nothing. Boom. Dead.
I'm starting to think that this one is impossible to grab both rem-tecs on insanity now. However, if you're just grabbing the first one and taking the shorter way out of the vault, it's actually relatively easy to do, even on insanity.
I had to log in just to say, even though this post was from April, I just managed it after attempt like 20 with the explorer profile, I watched videos, saw most people hit chest 1 in 25 seconds, they hit the door by one minute, but most videos people aren't on the hardest difficulty so their shields drain, obviously the hardest is an insta kill. I managed the chest by 21-22 seconds and the door by 55 seconds, ran to the chest, opened it, double jumped to the console and just got it by the skin of my teeth, its a challenge, it really is
