Error: 7049:404

I purchased the Mass Effect 3: Digital Deluxe Edition recently and I activated the product key on Origin. Yet, when I try to install it, I'm greeted with this error:

There is a problem with the download service. Please try again later.

Error: 7049:404

Hi everyone,

The Origin Team found the reason for this error message:

If you are getting this error it suggests that an invalid authentification token is being passed from the Origin client to the game.

Please try the following steps to see if it resolves this issue:

Make sure the game is not running

In Origin, click the Origin menu and log out

Uncheck remember me and manually retype your password

This will issue a fresh authenification token

Launch the game again

iim having the same issue i uninstalled it last night and wanting to reinstall but every time i try this error comes up can i get an anwser ea

As vixbgg already mentioned: We have the issue primarily with MoH at the moment. The Origin Team is investigating already. I'll keep you informed.

Yes, i have had this problem. I love steam, and i wanted BF3 to be on steam, but it is on lame old Origin. so i download Battlefield 3 limeted edition and it comes up with the same error that you had. But what really sucs is that i called customer service and they said that this was the first time they had ever incountered Error 7049:404.

OK, I tried, and no luck. I am running battlelog, and origin as an administrator.
After nothing worked off of origin, i went to a store and bought the disk for battlefield 3. i put it in, and attempted to download it, and origin failed to install and download the game. I spent $80 dollars on Origin, yet it fails to give me what i have purchased.
THANKS ALOT, EA, for supporting Origin, the worst program ever.

You (and the rest of the people with this issue) need "official" support from the EA Game Advisors.

Thanks EA now i am £100 down and 4 unusable games you really need to sort origin out but you will never be the same as steam
