Failed to Initialize PhysX for ME2

just downloaded the trilogy (atleast #2 and all the extra stuff for it) and when i try to start it up it tell me, failed to initial ize physX system, please make sure you have the most up to date version (or something like that).

l have the most up to date version of it and it will not let me start it no matter what i do.

I really hope it won't do this to ME1 or ME3, but i really wanted #2 the most

EDIT: I seem to have fixed it by downloading the physX that the game would have come with

I recently purchased the Mass Effect Triloigy for my laptop, and I had no problems all throughout playing ME1, however, when I try and boot Mass Effect 2 I get an error that says: Failed to initialize the physics system. Please ensure you have an updated verson of the PhysX System Software installed. I have tried uninstalling the PhysX drivers, however it says that I cannot because the Specialized Module could not be found
