Took off the AV and attempted to run ME but got an error that it couldn't find my account information. Tried again running the EA app first, same thing.Odd issue is that it never appears to open either Mass Effect, or the EA programs at all. How can I sign in or keep signed in if it never reaches those options?

Also since that doesn't operate, now I have to be concerned if my other programs from EA/Origin will work.
I'll try those next.

- 3 years agoI realized that my computer wasn't connected to the internet and suspected that the failure was because it couldn't validate the account since it wasn't actually connected.
I rarely have my computer connected due to security and other concerns. I really don't like the idea that I have to submit a request every time I play a game, particularly one I prefer playing offline anyway.
In either case, I activated my internet connection and was able to apparently have Mass Effect start up. I say apparently because after the EA window drops to the taskbar, the ME window never opens.
After waiting for a extended period I checked the task manager and EA window. Task manager reports that EA is operating in a background manner, as is "activation UI (32 bit)" and "Mass Effect (32 bit)".
The EA window can be brought forward, the ME window cannot and has no access on the taskbar. EA currently reports the game has played for 20 minutes.- 3 years agoNo that doesn't mean that it works. The Mass Effect window or screen still does not open and does not appear to be accessible. As for 20 minutes, that still doesn't mean it's been played or even seen, only the EA loader/manager claims that.

I don't seem to be getting a useful answer for this issue. So instead, I will be clearing out the copies of both Mass Effect Andromeda and Mass Effect Legacy (?) , and instead just install them on a new gaming PC.
I'm hoping that will clear the issues.
Thanks anyway.
