That definitely would be a big plus, especially for players who use a handheld PC, like Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally, where storage space is more limited than most gaming desktops. The game launcher also takes up an unnecessary amount of time.
Unfortunately, post-release support for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition was ended very quickly, so I don't think BioWare will consider feedback.
