You can track multiple quests, the markers on the hud still appear. They are just not highlighted as your "current" objective, and appear as white markers on the compass. They do not show up with the Q key, only the current mission you have selected shows this way. But yeah it made a huge difference in gameplay for me. Instead of me going in circles and getting lost, I was able to explore and actually find new stuff to do.

That's true but when you go to map you have to click Esc 3-4 times each time to go back to the game again which is annoying and the npc's you need to talk to are not highlighted when you pass by them either. So for me it just would be helpful to be able to track multiple quests so I don't have to visit the quest log and map that often.
