Mass Effect Legendary Edition Install

Question

Okay so yesterday I got a good deal on Mass effect legendary edition brand new at GameStop for $25 now they didn't tell me how you're supposed to install it so I didn't know until I read something on here and when I looked it up on my phone but I switched between the first and two disc about maybe like 10 times I have been trying to install this since yesterday I finally had all the games installed on the launcher but the game itself on my Xbox One won't finish downloading it keeps getting stuck at like 26% 76%, 81% twice but the full game won't download so I turned off my Wi-Fi and then it was at like 96% but it wouldn't move I switched the disc it tells me I don't own the game or that I need the first disc I put that in it doesn't move I turn on my Wi-Fi it doesn't download I turn it off it doesn't download has anyone ever gotten this game to work or has this ever happened to any of you? Right now it's just stuck on 26% and it's just installing and then stopping itself repeatedly and no I can't get a refund and this is ridiculous I uninstalled big games I have I'm at like 56.5 storage and I thought this would work but nope it still doesn't work.

If you're still having issues, uninstall game completely, then place the first disc in until it tells you to change discs.&nbsp;Back in the 90s and 2000s, when you'd have to install discs on PC, you would insert the first one until it would install. Then, it would tell you to insert the second disc. I imagine it would be the same for a multi-disc game for a modern console.

To fix the installation stopped error With Mass Effect Legendary Edition, you need to insert the Data Disk, which is the second install disk. The process is a bit different for both PlayStation and Xbox consoles. So here’s how to do this on both consoles:

When you insert the Play Disc, Mass Effect will be installed automatically. Insert the Data Disc when the Installation Stopped error appears in PlayStation.
This finalizes the installation process. To play the game, you’ll have to insert the Play Disc after the data has been transferred to your device.
For Xbox One/Series X, once you have installed the Play Disc you will receive a Legendary Edition launcher in your dashboard.
From the launcher, you may choose to download both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 independently. And if you don’t have an internet connection, then you can install Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 directly from the Data Disc.
