FEROS BUG - SQUADMATES

Encountered on legendary edition with Wrex and Tali as squad mates.

After encountering the crazy guy in the tunnels and speaking with him, squadmates won’t move or respond to commands. Had to do the rest of the tunnels by myself. If you get far away enough they’ll spawn besides you but still won’t move or respond to commands.

Weirdly enough their abilities can still be used in combat without a problem, but you won’t have their firepower to aid you. Also made me walk backwards once I delivered the water, power, food quests, only loading an older save solved this but still encountered the squadmates glitch on second run.

  • You can also save the game and then load the save and it fixes the issue as well.

I have had this happen on both runs through MELE1.

  • I had t his same problem. I believe this is a bug in the original game as well. Reloading a save file seems to fix it as MCSUPERSPORT posted.

  • As far as I remember I had this issue on the original trilogy ME1 too. I hoped Bioware had solved this well known bug with squadmates when the Legendary Edition was released but it still happens. One or both squadmates won't follow Shepard and won't execute orders. At lower difficulty levels you can go on the mission by your own forces (or with the only responding squadmate) but you'd better solve the issue before getting into the tunnel to disable the geth transponder, as depending on your class and current equipment/talents facing the enemies can be a pain in the *** at higher difficulty levels.

Just save and reload the game. This should solve the issue.
