Well your Ryder is pretty dramatic :D But I like it!
Third:
My Ryder's response to who ever asks him/her why to trust her or the Initiative would be something like:
"Just look at my crew, just look at the whole Andromeda Initiative. We have come here with not just our sepcies, but with a whole bunch of species from our Galaxy. We lived in peace...in a diplomatic way. We respected each other. We could live peacefully back then with a dozen of species. So tell me why shouldn't we be able or willing to live peacefully with just one species in Adromeda."
It's not a rhetorical masterpiece, but I think you can get the point. This was always my thought, when someone asked Ryder why to trust them.

Thank you, it was meant to entertain all of us as much as possible. And yes, I might have overreacted with my first example. 😳 I'll try something less drastic then:

Liam's Loyalty Mission. You three are holding tight for dear life, not to be airlocked to death. A third option for that conversation opens, EMOTIONAL tone.
Ryder: "Liam, get closer. I need you in range to punch you in the face before I die."
Liam: "Sorry, Pathfinder!"
Drack: "I'll get in line."
Peebee: "A violent version of a group hug?"
Vetra: "Aand karma slaps your face."
Cora: "Could we focus on survival now?"

i do like these fiction threads too. glad you decided to hang around panda.
strange, i can't really recall any individual conversation, i guess they were that lack luster. though if they were really bad i'd remember them for that reason, i suppose.

Think about the times you wanted to slap Addison back? Conversations like that, or even you could add a spice into any romance you thought was lacking. Food for thought.
