ok this scene/conversation doesnt annoy me as much but think I would do it differently. Remember Dr Nakamoto's quest in Kedara? Go retrieve his drug formula... After killing the opposition you go into the lab and there's this Asari that afraid that you will kill her... Ryder started having his typical relax I am not going to kill you conversation. She's obviously lying so you choose to deliver the formula to Dr Nakamoto. What did she say at the end? "F**K YOU!" What did Ryder do? Nothing...
If I am in full control of the character, I would have pointed my gun at her and watch her squirm, I wont shoot but at least I want her to know not to screw with me. She's obviously afraid of dying, when you are nice to her she takes advantage. Point a gun at her. Watch her reaction. Smirk and walk away.

Dont mind shooting her though, another parasite of the drug trade...
just picture it. the conversation just ends, you have your sidearm pointed at her head, you slowly lower it and turn around and start walking away... the "shoot her in the foot!" interrupt flashes. just as ryder is about to exit through the front door, ryder quickly turns around, and shoots her in the foot. saying "you're not my type" in response to the F-you comment.
